I put in a request, they normally want 4-6 weeks advance notice, but I figured it couldn't hurt. I put in for four tickets, but told them I'd take 2 if that became available. They're chosen by lottery, so if anyone's going to be in LA and wants to take a chance, put in your info...it can't hurt! I'm not sure if they tape the same day, but I put in for the 8th.

Jay's old show taped the same day. I'm not sure they still do.

Thanks for the info. I'm not really expecting to get tix this late in the game, but I figure it couldn't hurt to try.
BTW, I just noticed Jamie Foxx is scheduled for Oct. 5. I guess that means he'll be making it to the premiere on Tuesday.
