Interesting question. It depends on the amount of rows in First Class and Business Class. Going from LA to NYC, I would guess by the plane size that they would have about 7 rows total (for bus. class and first class combined). Just my experience, and nothing more....
I guess it depends on how full the plane was and how late they made reservations as to where Kanye had to sit. Maybe he needed extra room for his ego. I'm surprised he's not flying private. Sorry, but I think he's an ass and a sore loser when it comes to award shows.

It must have been a long flight. The dude that tweeted about going to NYC about 7 hours ago stated they just landed - about 1 hour ago.
Does it normally take 6 hours to fly from LA to NY?
Is this what you call a 'redeye' flight? I've never flown overnight.
