| Well, the secret as to why Butler is in Philly today with a bunch of guys has apparently been solved. A guy just tweeted that he spotted him at the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) event: - Quote :

I guess Gerry has yet to realize that not everyone drops everything for a person and rolls out the red carpet just because they're a "celebrity". Besides, Philly isn't LA or NY...most cities aren't like that. Hollyweird and the NY socialite/celeb scene isn't the "norm", and the people involved in that scene have little to no grasp of reality and real life. If Butler came back to St. Louis, the majority of the people here would probably not know who he was even if he told them. | |

| They are probably starting to promote Gamer. Isn't it coming out in a month? There has been very little promotion so far on TV or in the theaters (I haven't seen anything). I have to say, the latest posters (or whatever they are called) that I have seen look cheesy and stupid -- like bad art on a crappy DVD. I was really looking forward to this movie because I love action movies. But that last clip with the kid and Ludacris that they released made me cringe. | |

| It has a 9/4 release date, but I'm assuming no premiere. Personally, I predict it will go straight to DVD about a month after that.
It's a shame, really. They had 2 years to promote this movie, and now it's like they're trying to sloppily cram some publicity in during the last few weeks. It reminds me of the kid who doesn't do his homework all year and then tries to pass the grade by the seat of his pants because he finds out he is failing school. "What, I'm failing? No way, dude!"
