Members Personal Areas have moved

Subject: Members Personal Areas have moved Thu Apr 30, 2009 10:05 pm

I've decided to move the Members Personal Areas to the Members Only section of the forum. Nothing in particular caused me to do this, other than I thought people might feel more comfortable with them being there rather than open to guests.

A reminder...if anyone wants a personal area, please send either myself or Nay a PM and we can set something up for you.

I didn't really ask, I just assumed people would feel more comfortable that way. I can always move it back if the majority wants it moved back.

That's a great idea, DK. I like the privacy of Personal Areas only visible to Members.

I wouldn't have much to say in a personal area.

My days would go something like this...

Today I went to work....then wrote some Erik porn.

Next day....

Today I went to work....then wrote some more Erik smut.

Next Day...

I slept in....then wrote some porn....then Jonah was kidnapped in Egypt.

It's kind of like voyeurism. You do what you like and others watch or participate...I guess that wouldn't be voyeurism.

I find it weird that I know how to spell voyeurism.

The personal areas are for people who want to express themselves in a unique way...whether it be for astrology readings, pics, inspirational thoughts, etc. I thought it would be nice to give people the opportunity, if they wished, to have a place to do so. In a place like GALS, where there are so many members, it isn't exactly feasible. But I also know on the large forums, sometimes the less "vocal" members might feel a bit smothered and intimidated by those who are more outspoken.

This was something that Hotlips started on Gerrylicious, and I thought it was a great idea. I don't know if she's still doing it, but when I started this forum I thought I would bring that idea over here.

Think of it as kinda like the blog area of GALS.

I can't remember if I had a place over there...I think at the last moment, I was given one. I think I shared my travels last year.
