It's okay, I was a bit grumpy last night anyway. It's been a ROUGH week at work. Some things were done that shouldn't have been done, suspensions were given and investigations took place (which I had to be indirectly involved in). Anyway, to make a long story short, the plant manager was fired, my manager was offered a demotion to come back and she refused, and the rest of us are flying by the seat of our pants trying to figure out how to take care of things in the absence of both of them. Everyone, myself included, were so mentally drained by the end of yesterday, we were like zombies. I think I went to bed about 9:00 last night. I guess I just wanted to vent.

Actually I really like my job and where I work, that's why it's so upsetting to see this happen. We're a brand new company with the sale, and this was the worst time something like this could have happened. The last thing I want/need right now is to be laid off again, and if the company doesn't recover financially from this mess that could very well happen to all of us. The big boss is also a shareholder in the company, so that's a plus. He's the one that nipped it in the bud and personally I'm glad he's there because I know he's not going to put up with anything but our best.
