| I'm wearing green and am on my fourth bottle of Irish beer. The corned beef got put in the pot late, and won't be ready for another few hours. In the meantime.... Happy St. Patrick's Day, all!  Oh, and I ate a green pickle.

| Yes.  Ladies and gentlemen, I do believe I've made and eaten the best corned beef ever made and eaten in the history of mankind. I started it this morning in the crockpot (I've always baked it, never put it in a crockpot before). All day long it was simmering with some fingerling potatoes, and then about an hour before it was finished I added a bag of frozen corn. Mmmmmmm....it was so tender and juicy and meaty and flavorful.  I feel satisfied. | |
