I've seen so many TV ads for it I won't go see it. Doesn't look like my type of movie.

Who wishes theater food costs less?

I saw it earlier this month, at a film festival. It was EXCELLENT! Everyone in the film did a wonderful job, and you'll be laughing all the way through.

I saw it last week and was the only one in the cinema - felt like a mini-premiere. I even walked the reddish carpet! No two ways about it - fantastic movie! But and I say this with loooove in my tone of voice - there IS cellulite on that-them-thar Butler butt!

BTW LegoJulie, I smuggle my junk food into the cinema in my handbag (lollies, chips, drink).

I was late to see the second showing of the movie last time, so I completely missed that scene. And I had seen the movie over a month ago, before. I guess I'll have to go back and watch it again...to purely reacquaint myself again.

Yep, I saw the cellulite too. Although, it might have just been more giggly than cheesy. Maybe that is what happens when you pump up and your bum becomes bigger, and then you slim down and the bum becomes flat again. Whatever the case, like I told Nay, I felt oddly good about my own bum after seeing that Butler's wasn't perfect. Gotta love a guy who just doesn't care what anyone sees or thinks and drops trou anyway.

BTW, the movie is good. Butler was good as were the other actors. I am totally a fan of Idris now, and I loved Mark Strong and Tony Kebbell.

It is nice to read that I am not the only one thinking that Very Happy

The film is worth the ticket, the story is fun, the actors are great, Gerry is great too Laughing

It's showing here in my area, but oddly I haven't seen it yet. I did see it in Toronto, though. I heard thru the grapevine that the DVD comes out in late December. We'll definitely have to schedule a chat for that one!

As far as the cellubutt goes, I still need to examine that further.

I saw it on Halloween Night when it opened here. Hubby and I had a date night. I usually don't like those type movies but that was great. I will buy it before I see it again in the theater. My hubby told me that if they released it to limited release it would quickly follow to DVD.

I went in knowing it probably wouldn't be my kind of movie either. But I thought I'd give it a chance, and it was a new Gerry film. I thought maybe I would enjoy the comedy parts. But I have to admit that I really hated it, I was bored to tears and it wasn't my type of film at all. Two hours of my life I'd really like back. Even Gerry being in it didn't save it. I didn't care for his character at all.

A Guy Ritchie type of film just isn't my cup of tea...I'm much more a straight drama sort of person -- the best films I've seen in the last year include Atonement and Painted Veil...now if it had been something along those lines I'm sure I would have loved it.

There was only one scene I liked in the entire film and that's the one with Gerry and Thandie dancing together.
