Spring is on it's way!

It's 68F and sunny with low humidity...it's like LA weather here!

I went to the unemployment office and filed for my four week visit, got the little mess straightened out about the matter of three weeks pay they owe me (hopefully it's straightened out, anyway), and took myself a little "long way around" drive on the way home.

Now I have the windows open and am getting ready to go sit outside on the porch with a glass of Merlot and my laptop.

Hey hey... I can definitely handle some Spring Time !!

We don't get a lot of snow here not like up NorthEast -- or

probably not like Missouri -- it gets cold here but

normally don't get much precip that sticks to ground --

but this past sun/monday -- we actually got 5 1/2 inches

here in Greensboro snow -- (probably sounds like nuttin' to

you people that get the real winters - but for us was a lot

was pretty - is mostly melted now)

Temp today is 57 - and going to get more like 60's this weekend

Hot Damn !! -- I've been an old sickie this week since last friday

caught one of those -- stuffy head/nasal drip/scratchy throats

viruses -- been doing the green teas/o.j. -- chic soup/lots of
sleep manuvers -- and finally starting to feel almost human

again... -- opened the windows a little bit -- fresh was helpful

and was listenin' to some James Taylor --- sing

Oh Mexico ---nuttin' like some JT along with the OJ -- ta help

shake the flues away...

hey -- daylight savings time begins this sat night at 2:00 am--

set clock forward -- lose a little sleep but gain extra daylight --

I love it when it stays daylight longer......

Dang!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
It's only 48 here and it is raining like hell. We have just had 2 days in the 60's and can you believe we still have snow on the ground. It should hopefully be gone with all of the rain today, but we are to drop back into the 30's again late next week. This was just enough warm and sun to perk me up.

I have an employment test scheduled for March 16. The county I lived in, accepted my employment application, which is a relief. I know it's not good to believe that it will be THE job right now, but that I even got in to take the test, is a miracle.

If I can get this job, I'll be ok--making the same or more than I did at my last job.
