| This guy is hot. Never heard of him before. We don't have any of his shows here. The good stuff is never on in Austria!

| Meretean posted a picture of Steve in Dark Archer costume on Steve Bacic Forum.
Cod piece-ness.
The Guard and Crash & Burn galleries there have new screen caps thanks to the lovely and generous Birdseed. She skipped the really good stuff due to their being inappropriate for the young (most of SB Forum is family friendly). Something about proper kilt wearing.

| Steve's Smallville episode will air on January 22, 2010 in both US and Canada. The Guard is on season 3 now in Canada. Season 1 is supposed to start sometime in 2010 in the US on ION/PAX. Crash & Burn is new in Canada, and only Canada so far. | |

| I forgot that was Smallville. Now that Monk is off the air, I can go back to watching Smallville again. | |

| Steve's Smallville episode Disciple #9x10 will finally air in the US this Friday, January 28 on CW. Should be on at 8pm ET/7pm CT, check your local listings.
For any Canucks here, this episode should air on Space on Sunday, January 30.
Since this is a primetime US show on a family channel, Steve should be mostly clothed, unlike in some other shows.

| Eh, Smallville has been a bit raunchy in the past. I believe Tom Welling was nekkid in an episode a few years ago, but it was a back shot. | |

I'm looking forward to seeing those "some other shows". I saw the screencaps. So much for the old prudish "I don't want to take off my shirt because I'm embarrassed" Steve. Our boy has grown up.

| Errata: This Friday is January 29, and this Sunday is January 31. Those are the airdates. I just got a wall calendar and that's what it says.
I'm not pleased with the direction Steve's acting is taking him. The shirt doesn't seem to stay on much anymore, the pants have come off and the kilt has come up. I can't say this on his forum without causing a firestorm: he's become a TV slut, like those women who get roles for wearing revealing clothes and then taking them off.
DK, I hope you have other fandoms where the objects of fandoms still have integrity.

| Does integrity even exist in the acting world? Even the best seem to get swayed by the fame, fortune, women/men, attention, etc.
I haven't really been following Steve since he quit acting in things I can see in the U.S. I saw a few episodes of The Guard and thought it was a good show. Maybe Steve is going through mid-life crisis and wants to play the stud card. It's a good thing he has a wife and kids to ground him, and doesn't live in Hollywood.

| I wonder how his wife feels about his Crash & Burn role.
I don't know much about the acting world, but I know the professional music world sucks. A friend said he didn't turn pro because he didn't like sleeping with random people. And this was about choruses and orchestras and classical music.

| Steve did a movie called "Teacher" a few years back, which for whatever reason never got released. Anyway, I ran across these clips this evening, completely by accident:

| He did jokingly say once he should edit it down to just the good parts, 15-25min and sell it at conventions. That would have been really fun! | |

| Steve is listed for Creation Con in Chicago Aug 27-29 of this year. The packages are expensive, but he's only scheduled for Friday and a day pass is pretty reasonable. Seeing as how I've been wanting to get back up there anyway, and it's a cheap trip... http://www.creationent.com/cal/sgchi.htm If I do go, I'd do the Friday pass then spend the weekend just visiting the city. Maybe catch a ballgame, etc. Of course, if anyone else is interested in joining me.... let me know.... | |
