Hey, I migrated here because the word sanity was repeatedly stressed, and while I don't claim to be very sane at all, I'm wary of fandoms where the inmates have taken over the asylum and in some cases started eating each other (btw, anyone know of a good True Blood or Supernatural forum, let me know)

I'm a book nerd so if there's a "Gerry should play this guy from this book" thread I either started it or I'm all over it. I write under a pen name when I have time and am still trying to figure out how I convinced someone to give me money for it. Unmarried, no kids, one guinea pig that hates me.

Also, I fiddle with Photoshop. I'm endlessly obsessed with making animations, which I post at LJ (see siggy.) Feel free to steal and abuse them.

Been a fan of Gerry for ages (i.e. "Wow, that naked Scottish guy is kind of hot ..." to "Holy crap! Hot Dracula is the naked Scottish Guy!" to "Holy shit, naked Scottish guy is going to be the Phantom.") Haven't seen all of his movies but for the most part what I did see I liked (except Tomb Raider - ugh, he could have done the whole movie shirtless and it still wouldn't make up for having to watch Angelina Jolie). Also, watching 300 made my question my sexuality because I wasn't in hysterics like everyone else but was reassured by the explorer get-up in Nim's Island. Hnngh. He won me back over to the other side completely with Rocknrolla. It had been ages since he made a movie I had to drag people kicking and screaming to.

Just want to let you know....you have to go into your profile (under "preferences", I think) to always get your signature to show. By default it says "no" and I don't know how to change that (or even if I can). Once you do though, you don't have to worry about it no mo'.

Welcome aboard. A guinea pig who hates you. I had to laugh. My siggy has a pic of you know who and the blond hunk is my son, Bennett. He used to call guinea pigs skinny pigs when he was little. That is why I had to laugh. Again welcome to the insanity. You will love it here.

lol I think it's because when I got her she was my second choice - my first was held back by the breeder because he thought she had an eye infection. Plus on the first day she got loose and I had to catch her. She's a big grump but she's outlived two other pigs.
