I think this delay might be a good thing. Isn't that movie He's Just Not That Into You coming out in February? It looks like a similar type movie - male point of view vs. female point of view; men are from Mars, women are from Venus etc.
That movie also has a great ensemble cast and is based on a New York Times best selling book. The book was also featured on Oprah and got a lot of buzz several years ago. A lot of lovers of this book will probably go see the film.
I think it is smart not to release TUT a month later. People interested in that type of rom-com will go see HJNTIY and may skip TUT when it comes out.

The summer might be a better time for an edgy rom-com.

But then again, what the heck do I know?

Yes, it would appear that The Ugly Truth premiere will now be in July, given that the new release date is July 24. I wonder if there's a possibility of a ComicCon appearance, given that he will have two movies to promote? Yeah, I know romcoms aren't generally something they promote at these types of events, but hey if Game is already being pushed...why not show up and plug both? Publicity is publicity.

Leo, are you still planning on LA in March? Fassy's premiere is on March 20...right? I hope Alice makes an appearance here soon, to let us know how things are going with her.
