Hollywood hunk Gerard Butler stuns fans by going walkabout in Glasgow

SEXY Gerard Butler was clocked out and about enjoying a break just days before Christmas.

The star stunned fans in Glasgow's Merchant City and happily posed for photographs and selfies.

One fan, Robyn, wrote on Twitter: "Thank you so much for the photo! Have a great night and Merry Christmas!"

Another fan spotted the actor in Sarti's diner in Bath Street in the city.

Staff there wrote: "The lovely @GerardButler with our manager Vicky in Sarti Bath St tonight. Thanks for taking the time for the pic."

Butler has been credited with sparking a property boom near his Scots home.

Estate agents have revealed inquiries about properties in Giffnock, near Glasgow, have soared since the 300 star bagged a flat there in May.

When he bought his £582,000 luxury Scots base, Los Angeles-based Butler, right, said: “I love LA but in the end I want to move back to Scotland.” The actor also has a home in New York.

THE Paisley-born actor jetted into Glasgow for a festive holiday and made Christmas come early for fans on a walkabout around the city centre last night.

Stephanie Togneri got an early present when she found this Hollywood hunk in her path.

GERARD BUTLER has been raising the temperatures around the cold streets of Glasgow.

The Paisley-born actor jetted into the city for the festive holiday and made Christmas come early for fans on a walkabout around the city centre last night.

The 300 star posed for selfies in the street and in Sartis restaurant as the Hollywood hunk got hearts racing.

Stephanie Togneri spotted the actor wandering around the Merchant City.

One girl tweeted, "Gerard Butler prowled into the bar I was in last night. Everyone pretended not to notice him while mouthing "THIS IS SPARTA" at each other."

He also caused a stir when he went into Sarti's on Bath Street - but manager Vicki was happy to cater for the film hunk.

Natasia Nawad was also delighted to bump into her hero.

The star has kept his roots in Scotland, causing a mini property boom when he bought a luxury flat in Giffnock earlier this year.

The 45-year-old paid £582,000 for the apartment near Eastwood Toll.

He's also been clear that despite being based in L.A. for work, he wants to settle down at some point back in Scotland.

Looks like he won't be too far away from a warm welcome when he does.
