The guys at Blue Hive / JWT São Paulo like to think big. That really shows in these scripts. The idea was to take a Hollywood A-lister, two of the world’s top female racing drivers and then shoot in three countries to create the ultimate test-drive for Ford’s new Focus Fastback. We started with Gerard filming over two nights at a military air-base in São Paulo before moving on to Norway’s spectacular Atlantic Road. Then we moved to Monte Carlo where we closed down the F1 circuit for a night of racing through those famous bends and that iconic tunnel. Gerard was a joy to work with, the locations were astonishing and the drivers scared the life out of me in the cars.
