It is said that dogs tend to look like their owners.

But Gerard Butler will be hoping no one sees a resemblance between himself and his squish-faced pug, who he was spotted taking for a walk in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The strikingly handsome Dracula 2000 star would be a disappointed man indeed if it turns out he is in fact beginning to develop a likeness for his adorable pooch Lolita.

The 45-year-old beefcake was looking good for his age in a dressed down ensemble of grey shirt, jeans and casual shoes.

Despite their mutual love, Gerry, who hails from the glamorous Renfrewshire town of Paisley, has previously admitted he sometimes feels a little embarrassed to be seen in the company of his mutt.

He said: ''It's weird because I never thought about [how small she was] when I got it, and I fell in love with it and basically adopted it.

'But then suddenly when I saw the first paparazzi photos...and she barely comes up to my ankle and it's like, "What are we doing together?"'

And it seems Gerry may have had something planned with beauty, as he was later spotted leaving a lingerie shop in the city after had ditched his dog.

GERARD BUTLER spent the morning taking his adorable pug Lolita for a walk around the neighbourhood.

The handsome Dracula 2000 star wore a casual blue shirt with his top buttons undone to give a glimpse of his impressive physique beneath.

If people say dogs look like their owners, we couldn’t disagree more when it comes to this pair.

Gerard’s squish-faced pug was definitely adorable but the heartthrob looked nothing short of perfect as he pounded the pavements with little Lolita.

Handsome Scottish star Gerard Butler, 45, was spotted by onlookers visiting posh lingerie store Kiki de Montparnasse with girlfriend Morgan Brown in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The actor and his interior designer girlfriend spent around an hour browsing at the high-end lingerie store on trendy Melrose Place.

The 300 star kept it casual in a grey shirt he wore half-unbuttoned, paired with stonewashed jeans and aviator sunglasses.

Brown showed off her long legs in a purple-and-white mini skirt and beige peep-toe boots.

The tall brunette flashed a pink bikini top beneath a sheer white linen Tshirt, and held a brown leather handbag as she met up with Butler outside the exclusive store.

A thick brown leather belt highlighted her waist, and long gold earrings added a touch of glamour.

The couple, who are believed to have begun dating in July 2014, appeared relaxed and affectionate as they made their way into posh shop Kiki de Montparnasse.

The store specializes in luxury lingerie, including $175 thongs and $750 lace bodysuits and satin corsets.

The Chasing Mavericks star is a keen surfer and now lives in idyllic Malibu, where he and Brown have been seen walking and kissing on the beach.

The couple sparked engagement rumors earlier this year when Brown was spotted wearing a large diamond ring.

However, an engagement ring was nowhere in sight when the pair met up for their intimate shopping excursion on Thursday.
