Gerard Butler Sued in Restaurant Labor Dispute

Gerard Butler is one of several celebrity restaurant investors that is being sued in part of a labor dispute. Shin BBQ, a Korean restaurant in Hollywood, has two ex-employees suing the restaurant claiming they were not paid overtime and were not allowed to take regular breaks.
The restaurant’s other investors include actress Laura Prepon, DJ Mark Ronson and record producer Steve Aoki.
The former cook that filed the complaint, Gilberto Hernandez, says he is owed more than $28,000 in unpaid overtime. His former co-worker, Eder Martinez, says he is owed $5,800.
