Gerard Butler keeps it cool in a leather jacket while arriving for the first Lakers game of the season at Staples Center on Tuesday (October 28) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old Scottish actor was accompanied by his mystery girlfriend while cheering on the Lakers, who were defeated by the Houston Rockets by a final score of 108 – 90.

It was recently announced that Gerry will be making an appearance at the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards, which will air on Friday, November 14 on CBS.

But actor Gerard Butler seemed more transfixed with his female companion when he headed to the Staples Center in Los Angeles to watch the Houston Rockets beat the LA Lakers 108-90 on Tuesday.

The 44-year-old showered his girlfriend with affection throughout the evening, whispering in her ear and stealing loving glances.

Meanwhile, the How to Train Your Dragon 2 actor worked a casual ensemble in a leather jacket, grey T-shirt and jeans, while his trademark beard added a rugged edge.

After the match the happy couple jumped into the car, with Gerard’s girlfriend driving home.

The duo have been seen spending increasing amounts of time together for three months now and have enjoyed a jet-setting romance in some pretty luxurious destinations.
