Gerard Butler‘s smile is swoon worthy at the Ellery show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2014 held at Bondi Icebergs Dining Room on Monday (April 7) in Sydney, Australia.

The 44-year-old actor sat in the front row with some female attendees, who he shares many laughs with! Looks like Gerard had a blast at the show.

Late last week, Gerard stepped out for lunch with a pal at North Bondi Fish restaurant where he showed off her large muscles in a tight t-shirt.

It's only day one, but the stars are already turning out in force for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in Sydney.

Hunky Scottish actor Gerard Butler was snapped sitting front row at the Ellery Spring/Summer 14/15 showcase on Monday afternoon.

The 44-year-old, who's in town shooting his fantasy action movie, could be seen eying up the beautiful models as they strode passed.

Gerard was the special guest at the eagerly awaited fashion event at Bondi Icebergs, Bondi Beach and rode to the venue in true Hollywood hunk style on his motorcycle.

Clutching his helmet, the actor was dressed down in baggy jeans, a grey t-shirt, a black, leather biker jacket and scuffed, brown boots.

The trained lawyer is currently filming Gods of Egypt in Sydney, alongside Aussie newcomer Brenton Thwaites, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Geoffrey Rush.

The film, which has a budget of $150 million, is not due for release until February 2016 and is being directed by I, Robot's Alex Proyas.

The show also drew other Aussie A-listers including Jessica Mauboy who in true diva-like fashion, made an outfit change in between attending fashion events.

The 24-year-old R&B and pop singer wore a black, tight dress with a low neckline and sheer thigh-high split at designer Alex Perry's spectacular Spring/Summer 14/15 collection presentation at Carriageworks on Monday morning.

For the Ellery event later that same day, she transformed into a light grey dress, with another low neckline, a black pair of Louboutin heels and huge rimmed sun glasses.

FORGET the catwalk — Gerard Butler was the star attraction at fashion week yesterday, attending Kym Ellery’s show at Icebergs in Bondi.

And the charismatic Hollywood star was clearly enjoying the company of many of Sydney’s eligible A-listers.

Butler’s friendly and laid-back antics are quickly giving him a stellar reputation around Sydney. First it was the casual visit to the football, then the low-key appearances at bars and restaurants. But yesterday was the penultimate moment when the actor, who is in town filming Gods of Egypt, attended the Ellery show.

Instead of making a fuss and arriving with a giant entourage, the 300 star arrived on time, chatted to fellow attendees and even cracked a few jokes after the parade.

“The clothes were awful, the models were terrible and the venue was bad,” he said, with a cheeky gleam in his eyes. And we admit, he nearly had us.

“No, the show was really great,” he said.

Butler was joined by a contingent of designer-clad darlings including Cheyenne Tozzi, Lindy Klim and Jodi Anasta, while catwalk superstar Julia Nobis opened the collection show.

The Scottish actor is also rumoured to be attending Royal Randwick this weekend, dropping by the Iceberg’s marquee at Little Sydney on The Championships Day 1.

When he returns to set duties for Gods of Egypt, Butler will be filming alongside Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush.
