Gerard Butler Meets Up with Gal Pal in the Meatpacking District

The 43-year-old Scottish actor has been in the Big Apple for the past week after attending the 2013 Global Citizen Festival last weekend in Central Park.

It was just announced that the movie studio FilmDistrict will be overtaken by Focus Features. The studio recently produced Gerry‘s movie Olympus Has Fallen and it will go down as the studio’s highest grossing movie ever with $98 million at the domestic box office.

And Gerard Butler appeared to be pulling out all the stops to woo a mystery brunette in New York on Thursday.

It looked like the actor was flirting with the pretty woman as they stood on a pavement in the Meatpacking district.

The pair were deep in conversation and at one point the Scottish star was seen flashing one of his winning smiles.

Gerard, 43, was dressed casually for the outing in a khaki T-shirt, camouflage shorts and brown trainers.

Meanwhile the woman he appeared enamoured with was sporting a red and black plaid shirt over a white tank top along with skinny jeans.

The brunette accessorised with printed high-top trainers and a black beanie hat and had a pair of headphones on.

Last weekend Gerard spoke at the 2013 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, which was held in a bid to end extreme poverty.

Gerard recently split from on-again, off-again girlfriend Madalina Ghenea.

The 6ft 2in actor began dating the 25-year-old actress and model in September 2012 but the couple have reportedly split up.

Romanian beauty Madalina, who previously went out with Leonardo DiCaprio, met Gerard when she was hired to help him promote a new razor for the Dubai-based Super Max brand.

She has most recently been linked to AS Roma footballer Marco Borriello, according to ESPNFC.com.
