'That's for Mila Kunis': Gerard Butler soaks Radio 1 host as they go head-to-head in game... but ends up getting drenched too
Radio host Chris Stark made a name for himself after his recent interview with Mila Kunis went viral.
And it seems the awkward chat made it as far as Hollywood because when Gerard Butler appeared on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday afternoon, he seemed determined to soak host Chris Stark when they went head-to-head in a water-based game.
The Scottish star shared a picture of himself spraying water from his mouth all over Chris after he couldn't contain his laughter any longer, which he amusingly captioned: 'That's for Mila Kunis'.
The game, which is a feature on Scott Mill’s show, involved Butler and Stark sitting opposite each other in the radio studio and filling their mouths up with cups of water.
Scott then plays clips from the past weeks TV and radio which could be taken as innuendo's.
The pair then tried, and failed, to avoid laughing which resulted in them drenching each other in the water.
As the game was about to start, Stark, who seemed slightly over overawed to be playing the game with Butler, said: ‘This is amazing’.
Mills added: ‘Actual A list innuendo bingo.’
And it seems the actor, who is currently promoting his new film Olympus Has Fallen starring Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart, was equally as taken with his competitor as he was left in hysterics and covered in water.
The game started with a clip from BBC show, Masterchef, with presenter Greg Wallace saying: ‘I really like the flavour of the inside of your pie’.
The pair immediately burst out laughing and spat their water all over each other, with Butler saying: ‘We are going to go through a lot of water here, I'm a grunter’.
Mills then played in clips from Hollyoaks, Eight out of Ten Cats and Jamie Oliver as the pair continued to drench each other.
Between the clips Butler said: ‘I'm getting so wet. You look like you have peed yourself, I think we are going to flood the studio’.
He then joked: ‘I'm incontinent and this is the first time I have been able to pee myself and no one has noticed’.
Butler then spat out an entire cup of water over Stark when Mills played in a clip of a football commentator saying: ‘He has a man up his backside here’.
Laughing, the 43 year old actor said: ‘How do you know there wasn't, did you see the game? Maybe there was a man up his backside’.
The game ended with Butler declaring, ‘that was amazing’ with Stark describing it as ‘a real honour’.
Hundreds of fans immediately took to Twitter and Facebook to rave about the game.
One said: ‘Have actually fallen in love with Gerard Butler just that wee bit more after hearing him on @BBCR1’.
Another Tweeted: "Gerard Butler on innuendobingo was one of the most amazing things I've ever watched".
Another fan said: ‘Gerard Butler innuendo bingo has got to be one of the funniest things i've ever seen’.
During the interview Butler also revealed that when he is filming an American character he will keep up the accent throughout the entire duration of filming, even when he is not on set.
The 300 star said: ‘I will normally always end up speaking in an American accent when I have been playing an American role.
'I can't go from Scottish to American so if I'm doing a movie I will just do it the whole time.
‘The you hear yourself talking and your like 'oh god'.’
Last month Chris enthralled the nation when he interviewed Mila Kunis while she was promoting her latest movie Oz: The Great and Powerful.
The 29-year-old actress ended up having what she described as 'the best interview' after she was invited to watch Watford FC and tuck into some chicken at Nandos by a very nervous Chris.
