whilst we are on the subject of GB pictures: i have a question. there was a girl on the GALS facebook site that had been posting quite a few 'razzi pics of gerry....i think they were from a batch from just jared. the admin got a little snarky with her and wanted her to look on the GALS site before she posted pictures because they preferred all the pictures posted to have THEIR watermark. so....my question: how do they get away watermarking pictures they didn't take and don't own? have wondered about that for years!!! not only does it seem proprietal, but it almost seems like it should be illegal.

anyhow...........just wondering.............

Good question, Sami. I would assume it is illegal because they did not purchase rights to the photos. But then most websites would do the same, including here. We just don't have a 'royal seal' to stamp on the bottom right hand corner. Laughing

I can see using pictures on websites. I mean....once they hit the net they are pretty much open territory like everything else online.

I just don't get the personal watermark on a picture you didn't take and don't own. And .net does the same thing, as I'm sure many other sites do. Don't get it.

The put Hosted By GALS on the pics. They are not claiming ownership and are trying to get around copyright issues by only claiming that they are hosting them on their site.

As for looking for the pics. Why didn't you look on THIS site? I started a thread with the links. Just waiting for DK or Nay to upload. Always check the scrolling Latest Topics box on the right. You would have seen it there as well as in the Gallery.

I've been gone for a few days so here's a catch up. Apparently Gerry flew from Dubai to Glasgow on Friday. This was consistent with the interview he gave in Dubai stating he was going home to see his family for his birthday.
