Celebs were the first to taste Rande Gerber‘s premium Caliche Rum at the launch event in Beverly Hills Thursday night.

Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio with girlfriend Erin Heatherton, Laura Prepon, David Spade and Gerber’s wife Cindy Crawford were all in attendance for the exclusive rum-tasting preview. They were able to grab a few drinks, enjoy the music, and catch up with friends.

Irish actor Gerard Butler joined the festivities around midnight. When asked if he would be trying the exciting, new drink Butler said:


“No no, I’m not drinking, I’m just here to support my friend Rande.”

We’re sure the upcoming vanilla and citrus drink will be a celeb fave!

Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Erin Heatherton are going strong!

Just one month after the cute couple enjoyed a romantic vacation together in Mexico, DiCaprio and Heatherton were out in Hollywood last night on a date.

So what was the twosome up to?

The couple hit the launch party for Rande Gerber's new Caliche rum at the Sofitel around midnight. They entered through the hotel's back entrance and jetted straight to a secluded corner table in the back of the Stone Rose lounge.

The low-key couple kept the PDA to a minimum. DiCaprio kept his arms around Heatherton's waist while chatting with Gerber and his wife Cindy Crawford and sipping on Cali Caliche cocktails. They slipped out the back entrance after an hour.

Also at the bash was newly rehabbed Gerard Butler. Butler was very social, mingling with partygoers and telling Gerber and Crawford stories about filming his upcoming surfer flick Of Men and Mavericks. And no, Butler was not drinking. He left around 2 a.m. Jeremy Piven, David Spade, Laura Prepon, Johnny Galecki and Amber Lancaster were also at the event.

Cindy Crawford served cocktails to red-carpet photographers as husband Rande Gerber launched his new rum, Caliche, at LA’s Stone Rose Lounge Thursday night. Gerber turned the loungeinto an old-school nightspot with domino boards and aged-rum barrels flown in from Puerto Rico’s 145-year old Destileria Serrallés, which makes Caliche. We’re told that after her turn on the red carpet, supermodel Crawford, stunning in Roberto Cavalli, took a head count and tracked down a server to bring glasses of their specialty Cali and Coco cocktail for the cameramen. Rande’s friends also showed up in force to support him, including Leonardo DiCaprio, back from his “Great Gatsby” shoot in Australia, who turned up in a baseball cap. He was later seen canoodling with Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend Erin Heatherton. Healthy-looking Gerard Butler, just out of rehab, passed on the mojitos and looked momentarily stunned when he was asked “for a shot,” only to realize he was being asked to pose for a photo. Also there: Jeremy Piven, David Spade, Wayne Gretzky, Rosanna Arquette, Laura Prepon and Discovery Land Company’s Michael Meldman.
