The TMZ photo indicated that the lunch was Friday, the day he got out. JJ has the dates as Saturday.

By the way, why is he reading Sam's book "Another Man's War"? Shouldn't he have read it long before making the movie when he was doing research on Sam? It's a fast read. I read it in one day. Is this a prop for the paps? It seems wierd.

It does seem rather proppish to me. Then again, I've had the book for over a year and haven't read my copy yet either.

I hope he enjoyed his milkshake.

After doing the film he should have a totally different perspective on the book than before. Would be almost like reading a new book.

Gerard Butler jogs the limelight

FIGHTING-fit movie hardman Gerard Butler pounds the pavements to show the world he's feeling just fine after a stint in rehab.

The 42-year-old actor was spotted jogging down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles as part of a punishing routine by his personal trainer.

The star — who'd earlier been spotted viewing a script at an LA restaurant — then smiled and waved at fans.

His workout came after we told how Paisley-born Butler spent three weeks in the Betty Ford clinic after fearing he was hooked on prescription drugs.

A source said: "He was not running about in the back streets, but on Sunset. Gerard is putting out the message that he is in shape and not struggling.

"People loved seeing him again and it will come as a great relief to his family."

I know we all know Gerry's from Paisley and was raised there, but I keep seeing more and more reports that he was BORN there too. I always thought Glasgow was his actual place of birth. Is Paisley just a suburb of Glasgow, like right outside it? So they just lump them together? I wonder which city is his actual, technical place of birth. Things that keep me up at night, I tell ya.

Paisley is a suburb of Glasgow, about 7 miles out. They have merged with other nearby Glasgow suburbs into one big urban area, Greater Glasgow, which happens when 2 or more large population towns/cities are close together. Technically Paisley and Glasgow belong to different governmental units, kind of like counties.

What does his birth certificate say?
I think his passport says he was born in Glasgow.

Thanks, Julie! I don't know what his birth certificate says, but I remember when that airport pap shot of his passport came out. I don't remember what it said, but I'm sure you're right.
