The fifth annual “Pieces of Heaven” art auction to benefit The Art of Elysium will take place on February 23, at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood, California. The event will include live entertainment, cocktails and the chance to bid on more than 80 works of art donated by artists, dealers and private collectors that all support the charity.
On February 23, SmashBox Studios, Christie’s and The Art of Elysium will bring together art, celebrities and charity for the fifth year in a row. The entire event, which will be hosted by Davis Factor and Andrea Fiuczynski, will benefit The Art of Elysium’s flagship arts initiative that bridges the gap between artists and hospitalized children.
The Art of Elysium’s founder, Jennifer Howell, said, “We are honored to have Davis Factor’s support, he isn’t just the co-owner of Smashbox Studios and Cosmetics but an avid art collector and talented artist himself. Without his donation of his space, products and time, our event would not be possible. We are also thrilled to continue our relationship with Andrea Fiuczynski of Christie’s for years she has given her time and talent to the charity, showcasing some of the generous artists who give their art so freely to support our cause.”
The event will begin at 7 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and a silent auction followed at 8 p.m. with a live auction. There will be live entertainment and the opportunity for guests to bid on artwork donated by artists, dealers and private collectors that will be available for purchase during a live and silent auction to support the charity. Fiuczynski, a Christie’s Auctioneer, will do the live auction.
Davis Factor said, “I am humbled to be part of such a great cause and hope that my participation can help raise awareness thru out the community.”
Celebrity guests include Ali Larter, Carter Oosterhouse, Topher Grace, Kelly Osbournce, Rashida and Kadida Jones, David Arquette, Rachel Bilson, Gerard Butler, Kirsten Dunst, Amber Heard, Julianna Hough, Minka Kelly, Jamie King, Rose McGowan, Rain Phoenix, Busy Philipps, Ashely Tisdale, Kat Von D. and more.
Founded in 1997, The Art of Elysium is a non-profit organization that encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children battling medication conditions who are medically disabled and/or hospitalized. With offices in both Los Angeles and New York, the organization holds workshops for more than 39,000 children a year.
