Gerard: I was Bolly close to film role
FILM hunk Gerard Butler has revealed he could have become a cinema superstar in BOLLYWOOD.

The Scot, 43, once auditioned for a part in Oscar-nominated Indian movie Lagaan.

But he failed to get the part and instead shot to fame in hit flick 300.

Butler, who now earns a whopping £13million a movie in Hollywood, said: "I auditioned for a Bollywood film 13 years ago.

"I think it was Lagaan. It was a great movie."

He revealed years later he was offered another role in a film starring former Miss World Priyanka Chopra — who he has been linked with.

He said: "I was actually holidaying in Jaipur and Priyanka was shooting for her film there.

"Then she had another film, Kaminey. They even asked me to do a role in it. That didn't happen but what an amazing film."
