Prayers needed for Ciuineas

Subject: Prayers needed for Ciuineas Wed Dec 03, 2008 1:30 am

She's not on this site, but many of you know her and have met Kathy.

She's a dear friend and needs lots of prayers right now for her health. She's a cancer survivor and had an operation right before we all went to Ireland.

I'm not sure what the whole story is right now, but she's fighting again.

If you have any room in your prayers, please add my friend.

Added to my nightly prayers for all who have been hit by this awful disease. My list is bigger than I could have ever imagined.

There is always room on my prayer list. My heart goes out to her and those who stand by her.

Do you know how she is doing mentally? I had a friend who was very strong and positive when she went through her ordeal with cancer, but when it came back the second time, she seemed to have lost the strength to fight it. She was emotionally drained.

I'll pray for health, the strength to fight the fight, and peace within herself to keep living each day.

Kathy is a friend of mine too, and I'm so sad to hear she is battling this terrible disease yet again.

I'll be in L.A. with Kathy this weekend, so I'll find out how she is. For the most part, she is positive on the outside.

Kathy peeked and found this thread. She was deeply touched, and said to let you know how much she appreciates this.

In January, she'll be going back for more treatment. We'll go day by day, so that we can plan on seeing her in March, too.

My heartfelt thanks to all of you lovely ladies for your kind thoughts and prayers. Receiving the news that my cancer was back for a 4th time, being told that I have been hit in 3 different areas of my body. . . well that totally knocked the wind out of me.

I have a major fight ahead of me, I start everything on Jan. 5th and am looking at pretty invasive stuff. I had to do a lot of soul searching and major decisions made as to what my plan of action will be.

I hope to pop in from time to time to see how you all are doing and catch up on the latest news.

I wish you all the very best. Please take care of yourself, give your loved ones and friends a hug often and live life to the fullest. . . go after your dreams.

I just completed day two of radiation on my spine and I'm feeling it. Two surgical procedures are set for the 19th with a possible 3rd to follow.

On Tuesday I start the 'Cocktail', I begin the next phase of my treatments/therapy. The Doc's are very concerned with my heart since it stopped during surgery and this stuff is pretty tough on the heart and system.

I will visit again as soon as I am able.
