Friday, July 29, 2011
Eaton Academy Distance Learning student, Noah Lomax, will hit the BIG screen in 2012 with a starring role in the first Nu Image / Millennium Films feature film, “Playing The Field”.
Filmed entirely in Shreveport Louisiana, shooting started April 4th and wrapped up the end of May.
“Playing the Field” is a romantic comedy starring Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Dennis Quaid. Butler plays George, a retired soccer pro who, after a string of bad investments and a burned out lifestyle, moves back to Virginia to reconnect with his estranged ex-wife (Jessica Biel) and his son (Noah Lomax). Trying to win back Biel’s affection, George starts coaching his son’s soccer team, but things get complicated when George is distracted by soccer moms and desperate housewives.
Noah attended class while on the set in Louisiana with a tutor provided by the Screen Actors Guild. Eaton Academy outlined his program, provided all of his materials, and worked closely with the tutor to ensure Noah’s success in 3rd grade.
Noah will continue in the Distance Learning Program at Eaton for 4th grade.
Noah’s other acting credits include TV appearances on “Mad Love”, “The Middle”, “The Walking Dead”, “Drop Dead Diva”, and “Army Wives”.
Stay tuned for Noah’s next role!
