I couldn't remember if it was Gaz or Gez, and didn't feel like looking for the reference.

Is it really slang? I just thought it was a cool nickname, since they were talking about him being in a rock band.

Gerry is too long to spell for the kind of guy he is.

I heard it used at the London Premiere of RnR.
I think it's short for geezer...

from wikipedia:

Geezer is a term for a man. It can carry either the connotation of age and eccentricity or, in the UK, that of self-education such as craftiness or stylishness.

I had never heard used as slang before I heard some UK reporter use it when they were talking about the film at the premiere in London.
It just stuck in my memory.

The context that I heard it was at the RnR premiere and was talking about the guys in the film. So I just took the blogger as using it in UK slang reference, but who knows....

It isn't just British, peoples. We use it here and it's context is "old guy" .... maybe more applicable for the over 40s. Laughing

I have no idea what this one is about. It was tweeted 10 hours ago and the person is from NYC - LA. (I know Julianna Margulies was also names New Face of L’Oreal Paris for their RevitaLift line) The guy is works as a set production assistant and actor....?

I think the guy who tweeted about it was working on it. It has yet to be released.

Julianna did her commercial this weekend in NYC's east village. So maybe the guy is working on finishing both commercials.
