One of our readers, Gabrielle, was on the set of Machine Gun Preacher at the Bridge Cafe in Detroit yesterday and not only spotted Gerard Butler in his trailer, but also saw a woman leave who just happened to look a lot like his rumored girlfriend, Laurie Cholewa!

Machine Gun Preacher is wrapping up in Michigan and will head to South Africa next for the duration of the shoot.

She's young. They all are. She is pretty. Also this applies to most of Gerard Butler's affairs. And her work as a TV journalist on French television would a Hollywood star not impress too much. So what is it that Laurie Cholewa from all the other women who would like to have the sexy Scot data is different?

Well, the Cannes/Nice trip was after Serbia. Obviously they were starting to get more serious then, or at the very least getting to know each other better (although I still wonder about how long they have really known each other, since she was in those beach pics in Miami). Maybe he has curbed his ways because they are now "dating" and he wants to see where it goes?
It'll be interesting to see how this relationship develops and for how long. Maybe he really likes her?

With all I personally have read...the interviews, fan and fan-freak comments and the like.... I am like my Mom (as she used to say....unless he/she personaly puts it out there and a engagement is announced then it is only friends dating.....) doesn't anyone stop and think that with as long as he and she has known each other yaddy-yaddy ya....... and he likes her a lot (like it was said) and she has the staying power....etc etc etc... something would have happened by now.... she would have been with him in Serbia or visiting and he not "whatever" with that model and whoever else.....

Anyway, EVERYTIME I surf the sites and read the comments it is always I am glad he has found the one, or maybe she is it or automatically assuming the lady is his girlfriend or similar comments... come on gang!!!! Sheesh....... When I dated a friend of my current boy friends assumptions were automatic..... we were boyfriend girlfriend and WE WEREN'TWE WERE ONLY FRIENDS and yes we were sent out alot together then again I was out alot with my baby brother....SO!!!!!!! Can't we let Gerry decide and quit putting it out there like everyone is pressing him instead of saying they look good together or she is the one......(sure you have read all history and current crap) say something like he is out with one of many friends which he does have..... Sorry, please don't bash me but good heavens....... everytime the guy is seen with someone or seen someone again (like this one) "its serious!!!!

Now, as for the fanatics....... Don would shoot me if I was to put it out here on how I feel about them........ when I was in LA I saw some of these women in action at the Red Budda it is sickening and many had hubbies and boyfriends.....

Oh... will try and track down the site I saw the interview/article on... and it did not say anything close to them being a item or the like. It was the opposite both commenting about the date...she sounded like Cheryl Burke but more negative. Ill make a note to try and find it....

PamelaJane, I saw that comment too.
I think that is someone who reads the Wierdly Obsessive site. They are the ones that started that rumor and speculation about her having a kid. It all came from her having pics on her Facebook page of her posing with some kid. That poster immediately assumed it was her child. Then someone posted something about it being a the kid of one of Gerry's friend and that is how Gerry knows her (that may have been on JJ or some other site. It sounded like a troll, so take it for what it's worth).

I think the pics were at some event. And she gave an interview about how she would like to have kids one day etc. (the event might have had something to do with kids - I can't remember now)
So I kind of doubt she is already a mother. Nevermind that she is a television personality in France and I doubt she would be able to hide a kid away.....

I do wonder about how long they have known each other though.

You know, I don't know anything about any wierdly obsessive site or what ever. I just innocently read that comment under the link that was posted by DK and if you will note, further, I wrote "of course, don't know if it's true". I'm certainly not naive about believing everything I read and I'm certainly not one of those obsessive fans that LW was talking about. I just found it interesting that someone else posted about G and L knowing each other for some time...as has been mentioned by others on this site.

And if you were referring to me, LW, about putting the two of them together as a couple, I wasn't. All I said was, "if he's happy, I wish him all the best".

Nah PJ...I was just making a comment (not targeting anyones comment in particular espically here.....) just basing it on how many times I see the same thing over and over on the fan sites (one definitely and it isn't this one). Its almost like in the old days a girls/boys parents wanted their kids to hurry up and be married so they would push whoever on their kids.... this is what I see (IMO) when I read all this bout Gerry and whoever-hurry up and get him hitched. Wish I can remember where I saw the one article where Laurie commented about their "date"..... not good

Thanks, LW and Dallas. I guess I jumped to conclusions and should've known better as you can't ask for a nicer bunch of people than you two and all the wonderful people on this site.

I don't care if Gman finds 'the one'. I have no business in his personal, personal life.

I just want these crazed fans to get over themselves. Gman dating someone steadily, or 'finding the one' doesn't phase me a bit. But the reaction of him 'finding the one' or steadily dating hits will many of those people really hard.
