Other nominees include Josh Duhamel (When in Rome), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, (500 Days of Summer), Ashton Kutcher (Valentine's Day) and Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal).

Winners will be announced during the "Teen Choice 2010" live broadcast on FOX on Monday, August 9 at 8:00pm hosted by Katy Perry.
Teen Choice 2010 is executive-produced by Bob Bain ("Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards") and Michael Burg. Paul Flattery serves as producer, Kelly Brock is co-producer and Greg Sills serves as supervising producer.

| An R rating means 17 and under can't get into the theater without the company of an adult. That still leaves 18's and 19's. TUT is now on cable/satellite movie channels, which means teenagers with access have seen it. I saw TUT. Except for the restaurant scene, there's really nothing in it kids over 13 don't already know about, or have seen or heard somewhere else. | |

| True, but I am not sure that the film was targeted to teens....
And most Nick shows aren't targeted towards the higher teens. Unless you count Nick at night, but even then, I don't think the Nanny and George Lopez are targeted towards 18-19 year olds.
It surprises me. | |

| I remember at a banquet my senior year in high school, we the students talked about Benny Hill. One of the teachers asked, "Who is Benny Hill?" and another said he's a British comedian with a raunchy show the kids *stared at us* should not be watching. That show had burlesque and lots of sexual humor. I also remember watching it with my mom and she didn't mind.
I suppose she may have been thinking at least it wasn't porn or perversions.
Any show with lots of sexual references (and not actual sex) and bathroom humor is geared toward teens and immature adults, usually male. Teens look for R movies and shows.

| I'm surprised as to what qualifies as a "teen choice" nomination. I would think something more geared around teen age life and things they can identify with, not a strained working relationship with a MCP and an anal retentive woman. Doesn't make sense but I certainly could relate myself! Ger | |

| Seems to me lots of teen boys are womanizing jerks and lots of teen girls are mean and controlling. Same personalities as the movie characters, not as good looking. I'm thinking of John Tucker Must Die, a teen movie. John Tucker was a womanizing jerk and the girls who wanted revenge were mean and controlling. | |

| Actually, Teen shows on Nick are a misconception...they aren't for teens, they are for tweens and younger, hence my confusion about Ugly Truth. I don't even think anyone under 13 would even be interested in that film, unless their mother is fan of Gman. | |

| Straight teen boys are interested in nude females. Conservative old married couples may find the Jell-O pool interesting.
That reminds me. I promised to teach offspring how to make Jell-O.

| I know what 'teens' want or like...but that's not the same as 'tweens' and under. Again, Nickelodeon doesn't cater to teens, it caters to under 13, except for their Nick at night programming. | |
