Hmmm, new thread. Simple premise.
What makes You Laugh, Chortle, Snort, Giggle, Honk, Chuckle, Crack Up, Guffaw, Shriek, Snicker, Split Your Sides, Titter or Whoop?
Me?
1. A good joke eg.
After years of war and bloodshed, the Lone Ranger had finally been caught by Geronimo. As is traditional, he was buried in sand up to his neck. Geronimo, recognising a true fellow warrior, asked Ranger for his last wish.
The reply: "I'd like to speak with my horse Tonto one more time please."
With a shrill whistle, he called his trusty steed. On the horizon, a wave of dust could be seen. It grew and grew until with a screech, the magnificent stallion reached his master. Leaning down, Tonto lovingly nuzzled the Ranger. With eyes upon them all, the Ranger whispered his final words into the horse's ear. With a twirl, Tonto reared his front legs and raced back over the horizon out of sight.
Geronimo looked puzzled. "Is that all?"
"No, he will be back. Could you wait a few more minutes before you strike the final blow?" requested the Ranger.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock. First five, then ten, then fifteen minutes passed. The Ranger's eyes remained glued to the horizon.
A sudden gasp went through the assembled crowd. Everyone could see a cloud of dust again on the horizon. This time however, Tonto was travelling faster and ... was not alone. On his back, without a saddle, was a nekkid woman with long dark hair billowing freely behind her.
With another screech, Tonto drew to a halt in front of his master. His baggage, unsupported by a bridle and saddle, flew through the air and landed, legs astride, on the Ranger's face.
With a spit and a head flick, the Ranger bellowed, "I said POSSE!"
2. Bad dancing. 3. The Vicar of Dibley and various other British comedy shows. 4. The next generation and "I'm so mature". 5. My pup especially when he has attitude.

1. Someone else laughing, especially laughing hysterically.
My hubby's laughter is what really attracted me to him.
2. Good jokes. 3. Cake Wrecks, poorly decorated cakes. 4. Not cruel or not too messy pranks on other people. 5. Unexpected frankness by children. 6. Preteens and teens using ridiculous sexual references and words, often wrongly or in fantastically impossible ways, trying to be "adult". 7. Idiots talking about things they know nothing about but keep on talking trying to prove their points. 8. Non-dangerous drunks. 9. Interesting typos.

-silly things cats and dogs do -obvious things that aren't so obvious -Princess Bride, Three Stooges, first 5 minutes of Will & Grace -my dad when he doesn't know he's being funny (he has alzheimer's) -members here
