Hecklers, watch out for Gerard Butler! After a rude woman at the Comedy Cellar interrupted Godfrey, of "Soul Plane" fame, mid-joke Thursday night, he not only berated her for half his set, he then brought "Gerry" up on stage as his secret weapon, reports The Post's Mandy Stadtmiller. Turning to the heckler, who had cried out "recycling," Butler said, "I'm not a comedian. Not like this lady over here." Butler then recalled meeting his "besty" Godfrey the same night he started hanging with a crew of Cellar comics including Ardie Fuqua and Judah Friedlander. He said, "The first time I ever came in here, I sat up in the back, I never met [Godfrey], and he did a '300' skit, and I was left with, 'Do I say something?' And I didn't. I kept my [bleep]ing mouth shut. It's [bleep]ing hard to be a comic and get up here every night!"
