I can not believe that he mentioned several girls from high school by name (one's that had turned him down etc) but especially that one, Julie Morrison. He described her as the girl you would go behind the bike shed to learn the birds and bees from.
Wow. Way to name someone on national television and basically call her the slut in school. He didn't even seem to clue in to what he was doing. He was so wrapped up in his story.....
Yowza. Butler, please quit talking. If I were Julie I would punch him in the nuts. HARD.
I also thought his 16 day cleanse and then 500 cal/day diet was insane. I can not believe a nutritionist or trainer would ever condone that. But then again, it is Hollywood and they are their own breed.
500 calories a day (especially for a male) puts your body into starvation mode, and then working out on top of that - I don't know how he didn't pass out. That is so bad for your metabolism and body.

I don't know if this goes under this thread, the photo thread, or the interview thread. I think there are Jimmy Kimmell threads under all of them. DK or Nay, reorganize how you deem appropriate - I have no clue.

I saw TMZ last night and they didn't have three quarters of what you posted, Dallas. Thanks.
I noticed he was chewing gum.
And what's with the fans kissing him on the mouth?

ok, there's Lisa, Joy, almost thought that was Fran but it wasn't.
Anyways, about the kissing on the lips, it's been the 'thing' to do since way back when..
when I did the big Leno show, with the 200 fans back in 05, almost every woman asked for a kiss on the lips. One young girl got her first kiss from Gerry, but she wasn't a very good kisser. It was funny to watch.
No, I didn't get a kiss, I didn't know Gman that well to even ask for a hug.

Asking a stranger for a kiss on the lips (and don't tell me he's NOT a stranger) is inappropriate to me.
Maybe I'm just not that forward.

Ok, I haven't watched all the videos, just the last two, so I'm not sure who we are talking about, except the last video, where Lisa gives Gman a hug and a kiss at the end of the video.
Lisa's not much of a stranger anymore. She's pretty much there all the time in the L.A. if Gman is around. He recognizes her.
Gman also recognizes Joy, too. Joy attends a lot of different events around town, not just Gman appearances.
But yeah, all the people back in the day, asking for a kiss, weird to me, especially when Gman was smoking back then. If the person gives you a kiss, then it's different. Michael kissed my cheek the second time I met him. I'm just not the kind of person to go for the lips when I'm not dating a person.
I remember Martin Delany going for the lips and I just couldn't do it.
Now, hugs are different...

Two words:
Oral herpes.
No thank you. I do not kiss strangers on the mouth. Period.
Gerry reallly should think about that. Herpes, cold, flu, etc. etc. It's unsanitary.
And just kind of creepy.
As for the fans who kiss Gerry - Hey, ladies, do you not realize that you are not just kissing Gerry, but all the people that he kissed right before you? He is going down a line of strangers picking up germs/saliva/whatever and giving that and his own special "Gerry juice" to you.
If people are told to regularly wash their hands because they pick up stuff from others and then touch their mouth, nose and eyes, why would people be less cautious when no hands are involved and it's straight to the mouth? It boggles the mind.

I really wish someone would give him a big smootch and then scream loudly
Spoiler:
"Oh My God!!! I just gave my boyfriend a big sloppy blow job 5 minutes ago AND got a big kiss from Gerry! My life is complete!"
The expression on his face would be priceless....And I bet he would cease and desist on the mouth kissing.
Then again, he might say
Spoiler:
"I just went down on a girl in the limo before greeting you all! High five! Cheers!"
Ugh.
Somebody call the CDC.

Kissing feels good, though. People have been swapping spit and germs for centuries.
Did anyone see him kiss that redhead before entering Kimmel (the one sitting at the table right before he took that drink from the other table)? Don't know if that was a setup or just some random person.
I'd let him kiss me. I guess I was just too clueless to think I should expect that sort of thing. I've gotten hugs from celebrities...only actually ASKED for a "hug picture" once, and that was with Kevin Sorbo....to which he gladly obliged. I've never gotten or asked for a kiss, though. I don't think I could ever be that bold. Then again, it's a bit different when the lady is in the same age range (and single).

Dallas, I think what you are saying is what I was thinking in my personal view. Too many germs floating around. Why would I want the same germs of most of the people I don't hang around with, either?
I do notice this though, almost every male actor I've met loves to give or get kisses.
Gosh, when I work my brother in law's comic convention, some of the male celebs who work with me smother me. I have to run away at times.
I love kissing, I really do. It's one of my favorite things to do. But I'm kind of person that feels it's a special thing between two people.
I guess bragging rights go farther than worrying about germs.

*makes note to join Alice at a convention*
I think I follow too many married celebrities. Either that, or I'm too annoying to be smothered.

Height might be a factor. (I'm even shorter than you.)
Dallas, those two "spoilers" really creeped me out.

It was on Kimmel, right before the commercial break before he came onto the show.

I totally agree, and am a very oral person (take that how you want, but it is true). However, I prefer to kiss someone I know and am attracted to. Not a stranger. Just because I have seen him in movies and he is attractive - he is still a stranger. I'll pass.

I finally saw that. That kiss and the drinking of the drink looked totally staged to me.
