....Another stud on the prowl—we told you he so wasn't dating Jen Aniston—was Gerard Butler who was putting his best game forward chatting up a pretty young thang.

"Gerard was talking with a young blonde who later revealed she had a boyfriend," an eyewitness tells E!, stressing Butler's disappointment afterwards.

Still, the yummy Scot looking rather svelte in his suit and didn't let one misfire hinder his Oscar swagger.

"Everyone was just having a great time," our source says of the celeb attendees enjoying Soho House's 360-degree views of Los Angeles, not to mention trays of champagne, a meat-and-cheese bar and hamburger sliders.
