Do you truly expect proper English on Twitter? These are the days of "i h8 u", "QQ", "omg", and "stfu". At least SC spelled out words.

Yeah, Twitter's not known for punctuation...it's hard to describe everything in 140 characters. You learn with practice.

It's one of the only places I can accept mistakes.

I don't even know how to twitter. Do you have to have a special "twitter phone"? But then again, I don't text either. Call me old fashioned but if I want to talk to someone, I actually call them and talk to them! I know, that's so 20th century!

atta girl! fight the technology!!! i think it's getting out of control, myself. altho i do have a twitter account......it seems we're starting to lose touch with really connecting with people one on one anymore. kinda scary!!

Good point. I didn't think about only have 140 characters on Twitter. I don't mind abbreviations in texts or on Twitter. It would take forever to key things out on a phone without them. I just don't like it when they don't at least put a period here or there. It can make it difficult and annoying for the reader without it.

I'm one of those annoying people who spells out full words even in text messages and Twitter. And I come from a background in BBSing in the late 80s and early 90s where you would type something and it would take forever to finish going through. Instead of shortening words, I learned to be brief and to the point.

Yeah, I don't know how to shorthand texts...or rather I don't know the key words outside of U, 2, B. I spell all my words out on texts.

But then again, I hardly use my phone.

MGP will be filming at a high school in Canton until Wednesday. The City had to move its voting location for Tuesday's election from the high school to the library next store. All the vehicles and accessory film vehicles take up the entire parking lot of the school.
