It's some kind of hotel/lodge. Someone probably is having a party there for the games and Gerry's always up for a party. I'm sure he has a wonderful big screen at his own house somewhere up in the hills.

It's a boutique hotel. Gerry seems to like the place. He threw a birthday party for himself there - I think for his 39th?

I think tips used to come from those in who worked in various places, i.e. hotels, restaurants, clubs, airlines etc. who tipped off the press and paps. They had ongoing relationship with certain individuals in the press/tabs (and were often compensated for it). Now, those media outlets also get free tips from the general public because of twitter, OMGICU, Facebook, and various other blogs and social networking tools. It seems that everyone has a camera phone and can update info to the internet instantly.
There really is no hiding anymore.

Gerry was spotted hiking Runyon on Monday. So does this tweet mean that he was there yesterday (Tuesday) as well as today?

If so, he sure is doing a lot of hiking. He was at Griffin Park with Lolita walking earlier today.
