Why is it people know where Fry Guy is?? Is this fellow famous anywhere else but in ButlerWorld?

Nay, they know because Gerrymetioned his good friend from NZ was flying home to NZ that day in an interview with a NZ reporter.

Looks like Gerry is going to be in Berlin promoting TBH. Jen mentioned that she was heading to Europe to promote it. Guess Gerry will be doing it as well, before filming starts in Serbia.

Fry Guy is Nick Boyle, who is one of Gerry's best buds, that goes with him almost everywhere...he's sort of one of Gerry's bodyguards, as well as a good friend. He is from New Zealand, and he has been with Gerry for about 3 years now, probably more, but has been noticeably with Gerry for at least that long. He got the name Fry Guy because he was with Gerry when Gerry had his two root canals in LA a couple of years ago, and was sitting with Gerry at an outside table of a cafe and Gerry has some french fries and there was a picture of Nick "stealing" one of Gerry's fries, and he was then nicknamed "Fry Guy." He has recently shaved his head, had a beautiful head of hair, but shaved it recently.

Thanks Tense but my question was more a rhetorical one - Why do people around celebrities become proxy famous too? Does this guy really want Joe Blo public to know all of this?

Apparently he's getting his 15 minutes of fame off of Gerry, since his identity has never been kept under wraps. Gerry has other members of his "entourage," some of whom we don't know their names - what is "Apple Bob's" real name? There is Freddie Bosch who also hangs out a lot with Gerry (just a friend, don't think he could be considered part of Gerry's entourage). But Nick is almost ALWAYS with Gerry. You sometimes see more of Nick than you do Alan. His name was known quite a while ago, so apparently he loves basking in Gerry's glow of fame. Just my opinion.

I still don't know why there has to be so much hype for TBH. It's getting so out of hand. And now they're traipsing around Europe?

How does Gerry prepare for the Coriolanus movie when he's doing all this "press stuff"? I just don't get it.
