Well, not really...but it sounds a lot better than the corny headline and accompanying cheesy story on JustJared:
Gerard Butler to Future Girlfriend: Meet Me on a Bridge
Quote :
Gerard Butler looks like his jolly self as he grabs a cup of coffee in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 13).
The 40-year-old Scottish actor recently talked to Cosmo on what kinds of dates he likes best: “Sometimes I will tell a girl to meet me on a bridge so we can just walk. I think you learn more about a person when you’re not just sitting at dinner repeating information about yourself.”
You picking up all of these pointers, Gerry fans??
Yet another Gerry thread on JJ...is that 2 or three this week??
I like my headline better. They should hire me as a writer.

You know, the video shows just how "special" these paps think they are....holding up traffic and saying "shut up with the horn already" and that guy standing right at the car when Gerry was trying to pull out.
But I guess I'm not that much better, as here I am, looking at the pics they took.
And do you think celebrities are really talking on their cell phones when they are being hounded by the paps? I've always wondered that.

They'll calling for hits on the paps.

Two things:
I associate talking on the phone (whilst being 'paparrized') a Paris Hilton manouevre. Blech.
Someone has a new toy car. Big and black.

He didn't seem to be talking to anyone on the phone. And in the middle of his "conversation" he asked the paps if he would give them one shot, would they then f/ck off -- but then he never seemed to go back to the conversation or say goodbye(?) Perhaps that person was just waiting on the phone during the whole event...
I've often thought that he holds the phone up to his ear and pretends to be on it so that he can ignore any obnoxious or intrusive questions/comments. It seems to be his security blanket. I would love for him to be pretending to talk on his cell, and then it ring while he was being photographed and filmed. The look on his face would be priceless.....i.e. Oh, crap! Busted!
**And Gerry, use the sidewalk next time. Don't impede traffic by walking beside cars in the middle of the street after crossing at the corner. It makes it look like you are walking in front of the paps on purpose, and you block traffic in the meantime. You're lucky that someone didn't tap your flat ass with their bumper to get you out of the way.....not that I would ever do anything like that or anything, but someone might.
***And you might want to drive to any other Starbucks in the metroplex than the one on Robinson and Beverly - unless you are accidentally on purpose trying to be photographed. Just a suggestion. No charge.
Edited to add: Gerry and the two cars behind him are all parked illegally, i.e. in no parking red curbed zones. That intersection has them for several feet prior to the intersection. You can see the Post Office drop off boxes that he is partially blocking as well (and there used to be a bus stop there, that he would be blocking, if it is still there). That is part of the problem - cars turning from that intersection are blocked by cars parked too close to the intersection in no parking red zones and people walking in the middle of the street.. Gerry, Gerry, you naughty boy causing all sorts of traffic. Are you that hurting for caffeine and attention?

Call waiting.
Hey, Counselor, are those photos enough for Gerry to get cited for illegal parking and jaywalking?

Damn! Dallas, you are hard on the lad (parking/sidewalk/Robinson).
But I'm with you all the way for the phone call happening ... what about a ringtone of:
"My heart will go on" by Celine Dion "Ring, ring" by Abba "I can get no satisfaction" by Rolling Stones "Bad to the bone" by George Thorogood "Whip it" by Devo ???
