I'm so glad to see Heath get an Oscar nomination nod, Leo.

However, I think 'Brokeback Mountain' is his best piece of work that I've seen, not The Dark Knight'. It's such as shame he didn't win that year.

Here I am again with something random. I am a redhead au naturale, while growing up it was nonstop teasing, 'strawberry freckleface', 'freak', 'carrot top'...etc. of course it didn't help that in grammar school I had it bad for pigtails. Not two, but at least three.LOL . Yes I grew out of that phase. But until I was 20 did the teasing turn to date requests. No Prom, not a single date. For all those who'Love' a redhead, remember how you treated us as kids.

I just got asked out at the grocery store, and it took me so off guard I think he thought I was turning him down.

Not that I would have necessarily accepted, but still....I felt kinda bad afterward.

Then again, when you go up to a woman you don't even know and tell her she has a secret admirer, then walk away, then come back and ask her if she likes horseback riding and proceed to tell her where you go to ride and the details without even first telling her your name or if it's you that's interested in her (at first I thought maybe he was speaking for a friend), and then when she says "I'm not sure" you immediately say "have a nice day" and walk away quickly, don't be surprised when she doesn't jump at the opportunity for a date with you.

It all happened so fast....and I looked like crap (IMO), so that was the last thing I was thinking when this dude came up to me.

Oh well...it was flattering, anyway.

Yeah, that sounds like it was pretty awkward...and kind of sophomoric....I'm suprised he didn't pass you a note... "Check 'yes' if you want to go out with me!"

It was very sweet...but unsuccessful.

I think he needs a different approach, or at least needs to tweak the one he has.

Would you go out with him if he asked you again? Maybe you will see him at the store again.

I dunno....but I doubt I'll see him again. It was just kind of one of those random things. He probably does this with women all the time.

I do enjoy horseback riding, though.

I would keep an eye out for him, you never know, he may be a great guy, he just doesn't have a good opening line for meeting women at the grocery store.

I wish he would have had a gift card for me. It sure would have saved me some money on groceries.

I could have even invited him over tomorrow for homemade beef stew (which was partially why I made the trip to the store on the way home in the first place).
