Gerard Butler is handsome in a suit and tie while attending the YMCA Mother of All Balls held at Town Hall on Saturday (May 24) in Sydney, Australia.

The 44-year-old Scottish actor was seen posing with The Other Woman‘s Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on the red carpet.

It was recently announced that Gerard is going to star in the upcoming thriller Den of Thieves after he exited Point Break.

If you weren’t aware, Gerard‘s Point Break role has been filled by Edgar Ramirez, who has starred in Zero Dark Thirty and The Counselor.

Just 24 hours earlier he was seen fliting up a storm at a Sydney cocktail party, but Gerard Butler was on his best behaviour on Saturday night as he made it all about the boys.

The 44-year-old actor stuck close to his Gods Of Egypt co-star and Game Of Thones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as they attended the Mother Of All Balls at Sydney's Town Hall.

The bromance was in full swing as the two stars walked the red carpet, looking dapper in form-fitting suits: Butler in classic black and white and Coster-Waldau being more experimental in navy.

The pair posed alongside Australian actors and real-life couple Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward, who founded the event over a decade ago to support non-profit organisation YWCA.

Ward lived-up to the theme, wearing an elaborate headpiece and masquearde mask on her head to fit in with the Ballroom which had been decked out in Carnivale decorations.

Butler looked only slighlty uncomfortable in front of the cameras after being sprung flirting with several women at the Belvedere Vodka party at Cruise Bar on Friday night.

It was only a shot while later that he exchanged contact details with a mystery blonde, before running from the venue for his waiting vehicle nearby.

Butler and Coster-Waldau have been in Sydney since March where they have been filming $150m mythological blockbuster Gods Of Egypt.
