Gerard Butler Joins Unicef 'Rest of the World' Team for Charity Match

Gerard Butler steps out to run errands on Wednesday (March 14) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 42-year-old Scottish stud was spotted out having lunch at a cafe late last week – Gerry chatted with fans who approached him.

It was recently announced that Gerry will be joining Mike Myers and Michael Sheen on the Rest of the World Team – they’ll take on the English team at a match benefiting Unicef at Manchester United’s Old Trafford on May 27.

Can’t wait to see Gerry hit the field!

Very weird.
Was he trying to dodge them, and then thought he'd act like he was leaving but then didn't because he wasn't finished doing what ever he was there to do?
I don't know if he really was sorry for almost hitting the guy or if he pretended it was an accident so he wouldn't get sued/arrest for assault. It was all very wierd.
I'm was probably trying to avoid any pap questions/comments about the homewrecker story. Who knows, they may have already asked him about it prior to that clip. He definitely seemed like he was trying to avoid themto me.

Looks like the Daily Mail thought he was trying to avoid them too. I wonder if there is a longer video.

First rehab for a painkiller addiction, now he is caught in the middle of a scandal involving a married woman.
The renowned ladies seems to be getting all the wrong kind of attention at the moment and appeared to be trying to keep a low profile in Beverly Hills today.

Wearing a tracksuit a baseball cap pulled down low over his eyes, Butler, who usually waves and smiles for the cameras, wore a hangdog expression looked decidedly more low profile than usual.

He has made a career about of being a favourite with the ladies in films like PS I Love You and Phantom of the Opera, but the 42-year old Scot may have taken his love of the fairer sex too far.
Gerard Butler is the talk of the town after he reportedly had an affair with an up-and-coming actress that resulted in the end of her marriage. She has since filed for divorce but wants to take up with Butler again.

The woman has not yet been named, but yesterday claims emerged that she also had an affair with rocker Dave Navarro when he was married to Carmen Electra, who later divorced.

RadarOnline.com broke the story that the Machine Gun Preacher star carried on the affair with the unnamed woman for several months last year.

A source told the site: 'It was a very intense relationship. She had very strong feelings for Gerard, despite the fact that she was a newlywed at the time.
'They would exchange heated text messages, emails and phone calls. She would drop anything to be with Gerard.

'The two would hook up at his hotel when he was in Los Angeles.'

Though the yet-to-be-named woman's husband eventually discovered that she was cheating, she begged him not to divorce her.

The insider says: 'She told her husband she would end things with Gerard and he agreed to give her another chance.

'However, the affair continued and she decided to file for divorce. She thought Gerard wanted to be in a relationship with her, but then she found out that he was involved with other girls, and hadn't been exactly honest with her about what was going on in his life.'

The incensed wannabe actress model then 'began calling Gerard incessantly and he changed his cell phone number.

'She hasn't been in touch with him since he decided to go to rehab. Gerard obviously moved on but she is now going through a divorce and trying to support her son (from a previous relationship).'

RadarOnline.com went on to report that the aspiring star's affair with the Jane's Addiction guitarist led to the end of her own marriage.
Her first husband allegedly claimed to RadarOnline.com: '[Name redacted] had an affair with Dave Navarro that caused the end of his marriage to Carmen Electra. She told me about the relationship and we subsequently dissolved our own marriage.'
Butler went to the Betty Ford treatment centre last year for three weeks to deal with addiction issues.

MailOnline has contacted Butler's spokesman for comment.

It's never a good time when idiots follow you with cameras, get in your face, get in your way, yell questions at you, yell ugly things at you, get into your personal space, obstruct your freedom of movement, ask personal questions, ask questions about rumors about you, criticize what you wear, your hair, your body fat, anybody you talk to, what you eat, how you eat, who you eat with, etc.

Better disguises is a good idea and maybe keep his affairs on a down low... Next Rumor will have it out that he got a A woman pregnant.. lol... Gotta be careful where you get your jollies riled up cause there are some mean women out there with claws bigger than a sabertooth and be happier than a tornado in a trailer park to have his baby or babies... Depending on how many women he does... lol...
