Toured some beautiful Botantical Gardens with an old friend. It was a near perfect day trip except for the fact that I am exhausted! No BH tonight. My couch has been made up, Roomie has pulled out some of my favorite movies and I am planted here for the entire night!

I love a good walk in a garden.

Nay, I used to study in that garden when I was at the Sorbonne. It was near the university. I think I told you about that...

Love the place. Great memories of me and my backpack full of books......

Edited to add: At about 22 seconds into the video you see a woman sitting on some green chairs. I have a photo almost EXACTLY like that of me sitting with my books and my feet up. Ahhh, all those green chairs. So many memories....

I spent a day at the gardens in London and it was just the best way to end my two month studies in Kingston upon Thames.

Hampton Court has a lovely, but small garden around the courtyards.

I just got into touring the gardens within the driving distance of my home a few years ago. Love this video, Nay, and now I want to expand my horticultural horizons!

I am waiting for my buddy to send me the pics from our trip to the Gardens Saturday and I will post them in the private section. He is the world's worst about downloading pics from his camera. I found pics from 2007 in there!

wow, that's like saying, what's your favorite kind of chocolate.

The first time I went there, my friend and I spent a whole day at the Botanical gardens, which I absolutely loved. Is there more than one? I think it's the Queen's, but I'll have to look it up.

I stayed near Hampton court, so we would always visit the small gardens, although they also had a big orchard of some type in the back, where after they had concerts in the court, families would bring picnics outside and just enjoy the rest of their evening. I also think they had a maze in the back. Or was that another place we visited. I have to look up all the places we went.

I can't remember if we visited other gardens while I was there. I do remember Versailles and the lovely area behind the castle.

The last time I was there, two years ago, we hit the gardens around the zoo, near St. Paul's Cathedral. I think that was the Princess gardens. We also spent time in one of the parks in Northeastern London. I have to look up the names of all these places, because right now, I don't remember them.

I so want to see those gardens in England! I don't think I will ever get the pics of my day trip emailed so I will post the link to where we were in the private area. It was just a small place but very beautiful.
