BTW - I remember Jared playing Jordan Catalano in the TV show "My So Called Life" back in the day. I think that show was also the first time I saw Claire Danes too, now come to think of it.

Dallas, that's just what I was going to say, about how he used to play Jordan on "My So-Called Life." Claire Danes is about the same age as me, so I remember watching that show and being the age she was, and feeling all that teenage angst. Jared Leto made the perfect teenage crush on that show. *sigh*

I didn't know where to put this, but this may explain why Gerry was in Philly prior to going to Dubai....

When and where did this movie come up? Has anyone read anything about this? This came out of the blue, so apparently Gerry has more in the pipeline than anyone knows about (Coriolanus, Teacher Man, Hanging Tale, Burns......). This is a publication from the Philly area. If anyone knows anything about this, please let us know...

Just found this posted at IMDb....

It's being reported that the reason GB was in the Philly area was because he was meeting with Rev. Sam Childers at a church in Somerset. It said GB is going to play Childers in a movie. I googled Childers, and he's quite interesting. A former Hell's Angel who saw the light and rescued children in Sudan. The original blurb was in the Somerset County Daily American.

This is definitely a role Gerry could sink his teeth, heart, and soul into. I kind of hope it materializes.

He met him in Philly on his way to Dubai, but apparently this has been in the works for a while now. We know how Gerry can "surprise" us sometimes...remember he was half way through filming RockNRolla before anybody knew the movie existed. He had said a while back that he had several projects in the pipeline, with all of us naturally thinking of Burns, Teacher Man and Hanging Tale...then Coriolanus popped up, and now this, so our sweet Scots Boy apparenly has more going on than we knew...this one may well be an ET production, with Gerry starring in it, of course, but with his comments about wanting to make some movies that were not of a commercial nature, but independent and with scripts that "spoke to him," this appears to be one of those movies that he says he loves to make. And yes, I have only been here a couple of weeks, but I have been in GerryLand for about five years now...just came here, liked what I saw/read, and thought it would be nice to add Butler's Pantry to my resume/CV.

Just something to chew on...the Catholic Church has been pondering the idea of letting priests marry and have children. Thinks it might cut down on some of the illicit activity going on in the Church, with the priests, and all. I'm Catholic and this has been being discussed for a while now. Whether or not it will actually come to past is questionable and speculative, but it is something that has been discussed within the Catholic realm. Should that ever come to fruition, anything is possible.
