As I recall, the MODS bring in the new year with members who join chat...all in the different time zones.

Nope I won't, why? I think I was the only mod online for most of the evening last year anyways, possibly the year before, because there were women who weren't going to be with anyone for the evening.

I will be home, working, but may take a Fass break, since everyone else will either be asleep or babysitting.

I'm not going anywhere tonight, and I certainly won't be on GALS chat. They don't want me there, and I don't go where I'm not wanted.

And unlike some people *cough cough* who seem to have tons of people to hang out and money to travel and go places, I'll be home - again - this year. Must be nice to have a friggin' social life, or someone to share the holidays with. I never knew how lucky I had it years ago when I had people to hang with. There are places to go, mind you...but I won't go alone, and I don't want to drink and drive either.

I'm at least going to make an effort to get my house cleaned by this evening. That's what I'm doing right now. And if I get that chicken thawed out in time, I'm going to make some chicken and dumplings.

I went there, but you didn't respond so I assumed you were away. I might try again.

FYI...the main forum chatroom is the "chatbox" accessible at the bottom of the screen. It says "Join the Chat". I created the Bravenet room (the one on the right that says "Enter my Chat Room") as a backup because a few people don't like the chatbox. Either one is fine, but some people are having problems with the Bravenet room.

I know it's confusing. I wish we had one GOOD centralized chat program we could use. I'll have to look into some other options.
