The 45-year-old Scottish actor was joined by his girlfriend Morgan Brown, who also accompanied him to a car dealership in Venice on the same day.

It looks like Gerard is really enjoying a nice long break after shooting his new movies – London Has Fallen, Geostorm, and Gods of Egypt.

Gerard Butler has regularly been putting his buff biceps on display.

But it was the 45-year-old Scottish star's girlfriend Morgan Brown who stole the show with her eye-catching physique on Thursday.

The model-turned-fashion designer showed off her long, lean legs in a pair of tiny denim shorts as the pair visited the Fred Segal Salon in Santa Monica, followed by a trip to a car dealership in Venice, California.

The beauty, who is in her mid-thirties, appeared casual chic, wearing a lightweight grey button-down blouse tucked into her cuffed jean shorts.

She teamed the pieces with a pair of slouchy, taupe suede mid-calf boots.

Morgan's long brunette locks were styled in loose waves and covered with a black cap.

Gerard was dressed down in a blue T-shirt and olive green cargo trousers which he teamed with black and white treainers.

The scruffy-faced Olympic Has Fallen actor also kept his eyes concealed with gradient-lens aviator shades.

The pair were reportedly eyeing a classic Ford Bronco while at the car dealership.

The doting duo have happily been dating since last summer, and in March, it looked as if he may have taken things to the next level.

Morgan was seen wearing a large sparkler on her left ring finger in Malibu, where Gerard lives, but there has yet to be official confirmation of an engagement.

Meanwhile, Gerard, who has talked of his longing to be a dad, has a chance to play happy families, as Morgan has a nine-year-old son.

The action hero will next be seen on-screen in the crime thriller, London Has Fallen, the follow up to Olympus Has Fallen.

Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett and Aaron Eckhart also star in the movie which debuts October 2.
