Gerard Butler: 'Olympus Has Fallen' Tokyo Press Conference!

Gerard Butler poses for photographs as he attends a press conference for his flick Olympus Has Fallen held at Park Hyatt on Tuesday (May 28) in Tokyo, Japan.

The 43-year-old actor is in town to promote the Antoine Fuqua-directed film, which hits theaters in Japan on June 8.

Gerard is reportedly set to replace Liam Hemsworth in the upcoming sci-fi action movie, The Raven – he would play Chris Black, a man on the run from a robotic police force.

Gerard Butler Brings "Olympus Has Fallen" to Tokyo

Taking care of some international promotional duties, Gerard Butler attended a press conference for his new film “Olympus Has Fallen” in Tokyo, Japan today (May 28).

The “PS: I Love You” actor was joined by Japanese model Nana Suzuki as he greeted fans and reporters at the Park Hyatt ahead of the June 8th theatrical release.

Earlier this month, Gerard was named as a possible replacement for Liam Hemsworth in the Universal Pictures production of “The Raven.”

The sci-fi flick will be an adaptation of Ricardo de Montreuil and Antonio Perez’s 2010 short film. If Butler signs on he’ll play a man with remarkable powers who is being chased by the government and the military.
