Gerard Butler: 'The Great Gatsby' NYC Screening After Party!

Gerard Butler takes off his jacket to pose for a photograph at The Great Gatsby screening after party held at The Lambs Club on Tuesday (May 7) in New York City.

The 43-year-old Scottish actor was joined at the party by the film’s director Baz Luhrmann, Miranda Kerr, Zachary Quinto, Rachel Zoe and her hubby Rodger Berman, Karolina Kurkova, Abby Elliott, and Rachel Roy.

The day before, Gerard looked handsome dressed head-to-toe in Dolce as he attended the 2013 Met Ball.

Lady Gaga had a secret movie date Tuesday by turning up undetected to a Cinema Society screening of “The Great Gatsby” and meeting her boyfriend Taylor Kinney. We’re told the “Born This Way” singer “waited in the HBO screening room’s green room” before having security “whisk her to a seat via a side door next to the stage.” But before the credits rolled on the Baz Luhrmann epic, Gaga had already slipped out to avoid cameras. Spittle & Mrs Bloom

Miranda Kerr’s had a busy week in New York. She arrived in town last week and worked on a photo shoot. Over the weekend she hit up several fashion parties. And she was at the MET Gala on Monday night in a black dress with a bandeau-ish top. By the way, a word on why I don’t include very many models in my MET Gala wrap -- how hard can it be for them, really?!?

Anyway, while Miranda’s been enjoying the NYC party circuit, she’s run into Gerard Butler several times. He too was at the MET Gala. And on Tuesday night, Spittle showed up at The Great Gatsby screening where, according to Page Six, he and Miranda were talking very closely, an extension, ahem, of a conversation they were having the night before, and photographed doing so. When they found out that there were pictures, I’m told Spittle made a deal with photographers to get rid of those shots in exchange for some other ones to be arranged at a later date. He apparently promised it would be worth their while.

If you’ve been reading my blog a while, for more than 2 days and less than 20 years, you’d know this isn’t the first time Miranda’s put a green hat on Orlando Bloom’s head, right? He wears them all the time.

Here are some photos of Gerard Butler and Miranda Kerr at the Met Gala on Monday night. They worked the carpet separately, of course. Although I don’t think either of their significant others were at the event. Gerard’s girlfriend, Romanian model/actress/whatever Madalina Ghenea, was not with him (more on that in a moment). And Miranda Kerr seemed to be without Orlando Bloom too. He’s probably in rehearsals for Romeo & Juliet, maybe. And what do we know about Miranda’s behavior when her husband isn’t around? OH RIGHT. Yeah. Miranda totally got Butler’d. I’m surprised there wasn’t a Porto-potty tryst. Or perhaps there was, and it just happened in the legitimate bathroom. I swear, I’m really beginning to believe that Miranda just compulsively cheats on Orlando. Poor Orly.

As for Gerard and Madalina, over the weekend she gave an interview to a Romanian talk show where she was singing Gerard’s praises while simultaneously using the past tense almost exclusively. When asked point-blank if she and Gerard would ever separate, she said: “If there is any possibility? It’s personal life, it is a very personal detail. But that’s how it is, unfortunately we live in a world where relationships end more quickly than they should.” You can read the interview here. A few days later, though, a source claimed Madalina’s “relationship with the actor is practically over, they rarely see each other…And on a professional level she’s not doing too great either.” Yeah. At a screening of The Great Gatsby in NYC on Tuesday night, noted slut whore Gerard Butler was seen talking to de-winged Victoria's Secret angel and Orlando Bloom's wife Miranda Kerr for a few minutes.
