Gerard Butler jokes about zombies in Glasgow and makes Alex Jones blush during hilarious appearance on the One Show…

Gerard Butler appeared on the One Show tonight to promote his new film, Playing for Keeps.

Nothing out of the ordinary you may think – but watching it proved rather comical.

Talking to hosts Chris Evans and Alex Jones, the actor joked around and at one point made a rather jovial dig at Scottish city, Glasgow. Talking about a new film, Sunshine on Leith, he quipped:

“If you want a bunch of zombies and you don’t want to spend a lot of money and make up – you go to Glasgow. They’re all there.”

Hmm. We’re not sure many Glaswegians would agree, Gerard.

The 43-year-old also joked about how his law degree never really came to fruition after the local nightlife took hold.

“I trained as a lawyer in Edinburgh, I lived down in leith walk which is a pretty down and dirty area with great pubs, which is why I never made it as a lawyer.”

The presenters managed to swing the conversations off the slightly risqué topics until that is, Chris noticed that his Welsh co-host Alex had gone a little Pink around the cheeks.

Let’s be honest though, who wouldn’t?

Talking about the presenter, Chris commented, “she normally doesn’t care, no matter how handsome they are.”

Alex began to go a rather lovely shade of fushia while muttering, “this is awkward, I’m going to have to go to the toilet or something.”
