Instead of making me sad, this story (fact or fiction) makes me nauseated ... and then angry.

Blind Items Revealed

To me, this one is kind of sad. This actress was once a B+. Hit television show, celebrity boyfriend, top of the world. Now, she is probably down to a C, does primarily awful movies and has been wandering aimlessly for what seems like a year. She had some really bad publicity about that time and just has not quite got everything back together. Well, a few weeks ago she started seeing this actor who is A list but probably deserves to be C list because his acting is awful and his movies never make money. When I say she started seeing him, they saw each other one night and then had sex about four hours after meeting. It was like love at first sight for her, but for him, it was just a conquest and someone or something to do that night. Our actress has always latched on quickly to guys and it is one of the reasons she has not had the greatest success in relationships. Guys walk all over her. She tells her friends that she blames her childhood. Anyway, she has been following the actor for the past couple of weeks to everything he attends. She showed up unannounced at his place once, but after his reaction to that she stopped. When he sees her some place and no one else catches his interest he will take her to her place, have sex with her and then leave. If he sees someone else he likes he just ignores the actress and carries on with the other. It is really kind of creepy and kind of sad all at the same time.

I think it might be time to admit the truth has to be somewhere other than a rehab stay for cocaine and prescription medication.

Is he empty inside?

I think 99.9% of the people in his world are probably empty inside.

Rose is beautiful. It's too bad a lot of beautiful women have zero self respect and/or confidence.

If this story is true, and that's a big if, then I have this to add. I read an interview once with Rose McGowan. She was telling about how when she was young, her family was living in a cult. They were able to break away from it (at least she was, but maybe her family too, can't remember). That experience was obviously a lot for her to have to overcome.

It takes confidence (in your looks) and sometimes zero self-respect, to strut half-naked on the red carpet. If only I looked like them. I won't need self-respect to make money. Just my looks. I can use money. Hmm...money. Sex with handsome men doesn't sound bad either.

Was he supposed to stay? Stay and do what? I thought the point of pick-up sex is that the other person is gone before morning, and not there to interfere with your day activities. (That's what I heard. I'm not pretty enough to get some random guy to go home with me.)

I don't believe anything the entertainment media says, especially the gossip boards but I agree, GB is an empty, sad person. But I do think that many in Hollywood live these phony empty lives. Yet millions fantasize about them and want to be with them. I prefer real mean, not empty shells.

This may sound silly, but how the heck does anyone know that these
"blind" items are even remotely true? You simply cannot just accept
this kind of hearsay as truth. These are serious character attacks.

It really irks me the way that rumour spin can so easily be accepted in the media, and by the public at large (No, I am not referring to anyone on here) as some sort of gospel truth.

Amen, Dani! I wholeheartedly agree. You can't know for sure.

Now, I do realize that there is a very strong possibility rumors/stories about him might be true or partially true, but I take them with a grain of salt for the very same reason you've stated. Those mags twist things, and put spins on things, and sometimes flat out make up stuff. They always cite "a source" or "a friend" or a "source close to the actor" or whatever. There's little accountability with tabloid media. They can say what they want because it's semi-rare a celebrity will sue them over it.

I say question everything! Allow for the possibility of truth, but don't assume it.

Thanks for chiming in on that! Exactly my point. I'm not saying that he, or anyone else is a saint, but seriously... The only time you see the words
accountability, and tabloid in the same sentence is usually when someone is ripping them a new one for not having any sense of accountability whatsoever. Just sayin.... scratch
