Are these new pictures of Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank going to start rumors of the duo being an item? Probably, as this happens to anyone caught around Gerry! The pair were photographed at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards Voter Party held at Santa Monica Place on Saturday, February 26th, 2011 in Santa Monica, California.

The Scottish stallion was also seen posing with Executive Director of Film Independent Dawn Hudson who dazzled in a red dress.

I’m not sure if Butler hit up the actual Independent Spirit Awards as I’ve yet to see any red carpet images or even any interior shots but at least he made a special appearance at the after party!

Gerard Butler suits up for the Film Independent Spirit Awards Voter Party, held at Santa Monica Place on Saturday (February 26) in Santa Monica, California.

The 41-year-old Scottish actor chatted with his P.S. I Love You co-star, Hilary Swank, at the event sponsored by LG!

Later that evening, Gerry dropped by the Montblanc cocktail party hosted by Harvey and Bob Weinstein, where he was spotted spending time with Adrien Brody!

He's been spending a lot of time with Adrien Brody lately.

Just when I thought these reporters were annoying enough for constantly copying each other and referring to him as the "Scottish stud", they have to go with something even more nauseating and cheesy. "Scottish stallion", seriously?!
