I don't know what is going on....but can he remove his cell phone from his ear? The pics are so strange, and not something I would do as a joke, if I had had previous legal problems with assaulting a pap. Maybe everything was in fun and these photos, and the pap's face in these pics, don't show the levity....? Maybe he posed for some pics and then "chased" him away in jest after putting on his hat?

The 41-year-old Bounty Hunter was leisurely wandering through the fair, but after reportedly seeing a paparazzo was who being too invasive, he chased him outside!

Gerry took off from Los Angeles on Friday and even wore a warm beanie in the balmy weather!

Gerard Butler rocks his thongs (footwear people, footwear) at the Art Basel 2010 show at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Florida where he left in a cab. No fancy wheels or entourage for this Scottish sexpot. I like how he’s so down-to-earth.

Serena Williams was also there but my hormones scream for Gerard so I only included photos of him. He’s looking quite trim isn’t he?

Why is Freddy carrying Gerry's cock hat in his pocket? Gerry has pockets. And it looks like he took of his NY hat and gave it to Gerry to wear....

Gerard Butler Hates the Paparazzi

Having flown into town the previous day, Gerard Butler was busy attending Art Basel Miami at the Miami Convention Center on Saturday afternoon (December 4).

The "300" hunk was spotted leisurely wandering around the fair looking at art before chasing a paparazzo and spitting on him for being too invasive.

Aside from the cultural festivities in the sunshine state, Butler recently presented an award to Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, the founder of a Scottish charity who's done work feeding hungry children.

During the honoring ceremony, Butler said: "I'm proud because he's a fellow Scot. Every day Magnus lets children know that they matter, that someone thousands of miles away cares about them."

Kind of looks like to me he was chasing a taxi. Don't really know.

Those are very interesting pictures. Why is he deciding now to hide the cock hat? Was he trying to impress a female? I don't know about you guys but I would never date a guy who asked me out while wearing a hat like that even if he was rich and famous and looked hot on days he showered.

Maybe that's why I am single. I am too picky.

I'm confused. Where is everybody seeing the cock hat? And why does the article mention spitting? The people in the pictures look to be smiling, laughing and amused, which is not what I'd expect to see if someone was getting spat upon.

It's an art show, there are tons of "celebs" in town, and it's a publicised event so natually paps are going to be there. No need for anyone to act surprised and/or angry that they are shooting pictures. It comes with the territory. That would be like me going to a wedding reception and getting angry because the band is playing tacky music.

That being said, no one looks angry ... not the pap, not Gerry, and not the onlookers. Maybe it was all in jest?

You can see the hat in Freddy's pocket. One pic is on JJ and one is on Celebrity Gossip. That hat has distinctive stitching on the bill and in one photo you can see the red and white of the "cock" patch peeking out. I'm ashamed that I spotted it, but like Butler's American accent, it jumps out at me.... I really hate that hat.

I can't tell if the pap is smiling or just has a shocked look on his face. It could be either. He could be laughing. His body seems tense as if laughing but he might be cringing.

Butler often smiles when saying something angry or crass. So I don't necessarily equate the smile with him being happy or joking. I hope he is joking and didn't spit on the pap. That is legally a battery (and disgusting), and thus I hope it isn't true.
I hope he is just playing around with the pap, even if he is really irritated, and just trying to make the guy stop.

Maybe someone caught it on video. Pictures often look different than a video showing the entire context.

Spitting was mentioned in the Celebrity-Gossip link, Donna. But like you, I didn't see the cap.

Does anyone else wonder why Dallas looks so long and hard at every photo .....

I would know that horrible hat anywhere. Like Butler's terrible American accent, it jumps out at me when others hardly notice it.

Gerard Butler is in Miami but I can’t find him!

One of the hottest men on the planet is in my city and I can’t find him! Gerard Butler has made his way to the Magic City to partake in some Art Basel events as seen here in these pictures at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 in Miami Beach, Florida.

I bumped into my friend Jose after the Bombay Sapphire Party and he saw our boy Gerry at the YSL fashion show with Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Christian Laboutin, and Russell Simmons. Doesn’t seem like I missed much as he said the hot Scot was not posing for pictures with anyone.

Eva Longoria was meant to host that show but apparently she was a no show.

There are seriously so many events going on at once that its impossible to be at them all!

Loren Ridinger is in some pics. There was a tweet from someone on Friday thanking her for inviting GB to Art Basel. So I'm wondering if this event was the main reason for his trip.
